Lightroom & Bridge

Bridge and Camera Raw is used to edit many images at a time because more than one person can access the workflow. Whereas Lightroom cannot be accessed by more than one person at a time. Lightroom is recommended to smaller studios with one photographer. If you are a high volume shooter it is preferred to use Lightroom to view and edit multiple images quicker. If you are a beginning photographer Lightroom is easier to use because all the applications are for editing photographs. Bridge is a designer and photographer developed application. Bridge comes with Photoshop and has lots of features, which makes things a little more complex for beginners. Another plus to Bridge is that it is a file browser setup where you do not need to upload images.
